to save you all from combing through big ol' chunks of text, I can offer you a few choices! You can comment here with your choice, contact me somewhere else, or just pop it into the thread!

A: The end of his city's rebellion against the evil Governor Kalan where Magnus makes the crucial choice (and mistake) of pardoning him for his sins.

B: The aftermath of his city's destruction & digging through the rubble. An off-shoot of this would be a mercenary mission with a cw for suicidal ideation, where he makes the choice to live.

C: The destruction of another city (not his own this time!) in which he and his crew fail to stop an enchanted object from wreaking destruction.

D: A vision of the moonbase he lives on -- and either the eldritch force that threatens it OR just the nice little holiday vision

E: His wedding to his beloved!

F: ANY OLD THING TBH. once he ate a magic rock. he's also fought ghosts and nearly killed himself by jumping off a moving train and ran into death traps over and over again in a haunted house to get swag. he's not a bright man.

for the starter i just left u: i'm not QUITE caught up on Balance yet (i'm somewhere in the stolen century atm), but can totally roll with option c for phandalin or something if our boys eventually wander over to the church!

also: luther actually encountered the temporal chalice during the dream share plot (tysm for offering that one up for other people to play with 😍), so i think it could be cool if he, so many months after the fact, finally discovers whose life the grand relics came from and that could be like, idk, a starting point for them to bond over in this first meeting

i'm so excited for it but also keep dragging my heels bc i don't want it to end, if that makes sense?? EXCITED DREAD. and 11th hour works! at first i was like "but they won and the city didn't get destroyed", but rofl i guess it technically did get destroyed like a million times.......
